What’s The Difference Between AHAs and BHA? 

AHAs (also known as Alpha Hydroxy Acids) and BHA (or the Beta Hydroxy Acid) are both exfoliating acids. However, they work in slightly different ways: 

• AHAs (such as glycolic acid, lactic acid and caviar lime) are water soluble and primarily work on the skin’s surface to improve cellular turnover. They break down the bonds that allow dead cells to cling to the skin’s surface, causing them to shed and revealing the fresh, radiant skin beneath.  
• BHA (or salicylic acid) is oil soluble and can penetrate deep into the pores, dissolving oil and bacteria. It helps to treat blemishes, blackheads and skin imperfections, while preventing future clogging too.

What Does Omorovicza’s Acid Solution Do?

How To Apply This Liquid Exfoliator

Use this liquid exfoliator once a day (either in the morning or evening) as part of a diligent skincare routine. 

1. Cleanse the face with the iconic Omorovicza Cleansing Foam to purify and refresh, without stripping skin of its natural oils. 
2. Apply a few drops of the Omorovicza Acid Solution into the palm of your hand, then pat over the face and neck. Leave to absorb for a few minutes. 
3. Apply your chosen face serum to smooth and rejuvenate the skin. 
4. Massage your chosen moisturising cream into the skin to hydrate and nourish. 
5. Finish with an SPF 30 to protect from UV damage.  

Expert Tip: The Acid Solution is suitable for all skin types. However, for sensitive skin, we recommend building up tolerance by initially applying it just once or twice a week, then gradually increasing the frequency of use.
